The guiding principle of my work has always been empowerment. I believe in the transformative qualities of finding your voice, and helping other people find theirs. Whether it’s supporting vulnerable children or giving writing workshops, I’ve been involved in a wide range of projects helping people develop and share their creativity and skills.

I’m a good problem solver with lots of experience and skills. I work well with all kinds of people and I enjoy a challenge.

• I’m a published author whose memoir made the best of CBC books list in 2016 and whose fiction and non-fiction has been published in the US, Canada and the UK.
• I’ve written articles and features for Business in Vancouver, BC Woman. I’ve also done feature pieces for non-profits organizations & capital campaigns.
• I create copy for all formats and occasions, including press releases, websites,and human interest stories
• I design appealing and functional websites in WordPress for businesses, non-profits, and creatives.
• I provide social media content and management (Facebook, Instagram )

As a workshop facilitator I believe in student-centered learning that is interactive and engaging. I teach regular workshops on creative writing. I’ve designed and delivered workshops and training prorams on internet safety, Microsoft Office, photo editing and more.
